- The Stock Brothers |
 |
The Stock Brothers, Jim, Matthew and Joel, grew up in Sweet Home, Oregon. Prior to beginning their music ministry, Jim managed a sawmill, Matthew managed a group home for troubled teens and Joel was a professional golfer playing mini-tours in Southern California and the Dakotas. The Stock Brothers have been singing together professionally for the past four years and released their first recording, "Timeless", in January, 2001. "TIMELESS" consists of updated and original arrangements of familiar hymns.
The Stock Brothers issued a new recorded release in November of 2001, "The Stock Brothers - A Christmas Album". Exciting new arrangements and harmonies were added to favorite carols like: "Joy To The World", "O Holy Night", and "Away In A Manger", giving these traditional melodies new life! They were also featured on a Christmas Album recorded by The Crystal Cathedral and The Hour of Power.
Now, in May of 2002, The Stock Brothers release, "Called Out", their first venture into contemporary Christian music. Produced by Stan Endicott, "CALLED OUT", features The Stock Brothers adding their unique harmonic blend to such favorites as "Above All", "I Can Only Imagine", "Yah Mo B There", and "What Makes You Who You Are", and also features several previously unrecorded songs.
The Stock Brothers have traveled and performed throughout the Northwest and Southern California. Recent appearances include Albany First Assembly of God; Rolling Hills Covenant Church; Eugene First Baptist Church; Fallbrook Seventh Day Adventist Church; The Crystal Cathedral; Tigard Christian Church; Pasadena Nazarene Church; Habitat For Humanity regional training events; First Christian Church in Huntington Beach, Seacoast Grace Church in Cypress and Crossroads Christian Church, Corona, California.
The Stock Brothers are committed and passionate in their desire to participate within God's Church, sharing themselves and their music as a means to bring encouragement to believers and the good news of God's love to seekers.
